Interior design presentation templates
Procurist is Canva for interior designers, presentation software that generates professional, branded interior design presentations straight from your FF&E schedule, for every stage of a project. It updates them automatically whenever the schedule changes. Every interior designer knows the evening that goes into a client presentation. The product images are dragged into frames one by one, the text boxes nudged until they line up, the dimensions retyped from a supplier PDF and the whole deck rebuilt when the client swaps one chair. Procurist was built by an interior designer who spent one too many late nights in the studio finishing a revised FF&E presentation after spending all day chasing after suppliers.
Procurist generates professional, branded interior design presentations ready to share with clients for all stages. A studio presents a project to its client several times before anything is ordered, and each of those moments asks the client to approve something different, so each one needs its own document. Procurist builds every one of them, from the Design Concept presentation to the Detail Design, FF&E and options presentations.
The Design Concept presentation is where the client agrees the direction of the project before any detail is drawn. Its pages are mostly visual: mood boards that set the colours, materials and finishes, and layouts that show how each space will work.
Procurist builds the Design Concept presentation from your FF&E schedule with mood and collage templates, floor plan cover pages and cover pages with an image or a plain title. You choose the pieces and upload the images, and Procurist arranges them into pages that are ready to share. Each floor also gets its own floor plan cover page, so the client sees the whole layout before walking through the project room by room.
The Detail Design presentation turns the approved concept into decisions the client can hold you to. It covers finishes, lighting, joinery and every specified item with its real dimensions and materials, room by room. Once the client signs it off, a change costs money and time, so this is the document that has to be complete and correct.
In Procurist each room gets its own pages, organised by floor, with the outline of that room cut from the floor plan beside the items specified for it. Dimensions, materials and finishes come straight from the FF&E schedule, so the presentation shows exactly what has been specified, down to the last finish. Nobody has to check a slide against a spreadsheet before the meeting.
The FF&E presentation is where the client approves every piece of furniture, lighting and decoration before it is ordered, one room at a time. Each piece shows an image, the item name, dimensions, materials and finish. It goes out of date the moment a client changes their mind, a supplier discontinues a finish or a lead time forces a swap. Each of those changes has to reach the presentation, the FF&E schedule and the quote together, or the client ends up approving one version while the studio orders another.
Procurist builds the FF&E presentation from the chosen products in your FF&E schedule, room by room. Only products you have chosen appear on the page. Every page carries your studio's header and footer.
An options presentation lets a client choose between alternatives for the same position, side by side on the same page. That could be two sofas for the living room or three pendants over the dining table. It is also the most tedious presentation to rebuild by hand, because every new option means another round of images, captions and layout.
In Procurist any item in the FF&E schedule can carry options, labelled Option B, Option C and so on next to the original. The options template lays them out for the client automatically. Once the client chooses, the chosen option is the one counted in your schedule totals and your quote. Every alternative stays listed in the FF&E schedule.
Floor plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, design drawings, project specifications. Upload whatever you have and Procurist reads your project requirements, spatial context, and design intent.
The FF&E schedule is generated from your furniture layouts and designs. Every presentation page fills from it: floor plans, room pages and the products you have chosen, with your studio's branding already applied.
Choose a template for any page, set your fonts, add your own images, sketches and renders, then export a PDF that is saved with the project next to your quotes.
Procurist generates every client presentation from your FF&E schedule, and generates the FF&E schedule itself from your furniture layouts and designs. The rooms, floors, floor plans and chosen products in the schedule become the pages of the presentation. Nothing is retyped and nothing is copied from a supplier website into a slide.
The FF&E schedule is created and updated automatically using live supplier data, without anyone re-entering product data. Each item on a presentation page is the FF&E schedule's own line. The image, name, dimensions, materials and finish the client sees are the same data your schedule and your quote carry. A presentation built this way can never contradict the schedule it came from, because one record sits behind both.
Designers spend up to 250 hours per residential project on procurement work, according to a survey by the Interior Design Community. 15 to 25 hours of that go on FF&E schedule creation and revisions alone. In a studio that builds its presentations by hand, every one of those schedule revisions has to be repeated in the presentation as well. More on where those hours go in the hidden cost of FF&E procurement.
Procurist automatically integrates FF&E schedules, presentations and quotes, keeping all updated and in sync. When the FF&E schedule changes, every presentation built from it updates automatically, and so does the client quote. The document your client approves is always the one you are ordering from. Swap a dining chair, change a fabric or add a second lamp to a bedroom, and the change is made once. The presentation page shows the new piece, the automated FF&E schedule carries the new line and the client quote prices it. Nobody has to open three documents and hope they remembered all of them.
A deck exported from a general design tool is correct on the day it was made and out of date the first time something changes. A Procurist presentation stays tied to the FF&E schedule the whole way through the project. When you export a PDF for a client meeting, it is archived with the project in its Presentations tab, next to your quotes.
An FF&E schedule client presentation shows your client every piece you have specified, room by room, in a document they can read and approve. In Procurist it comes in two forms from the same FF&E schedule. The first is the FF&E presentation, with an image, dimensions, materials and finish for each chosen product on branded pages. The second is a client-facing export of the FF&E schedule itself.
The client export keeps the supplier column and hides your trade prices by default, and the schedule also exports to CSV. Every PDF you export is saved to the project, so you can always see which version your client received. Both documents come from the same FF&E schedule, so a change made once reaches both.
Presentations look professional and automatically apply the studio's branding, provide industry-specific templates and automatically format these to match their content.
Branding
Every presentation and every other client-facing document, material and piece of stationery from Procurist is professionally branded with your studio's branding. That runs from the FF&E presentation to the FF&E schedule you send, the quote, the invoice and the material boards.
Add your logo, contact details and website once, and they appear on every page of every document. Presentation pages carry your studio's header and footer automatically. The room and floor, the project name, the presentation stage, the date and the city sit along the top, with your logo, page number and contact details along the bottom. Nobody on your team has to remember which logo file is current, and everything a client receives looks like it came from one studio.
Templates
Procurist gives you a wealth of industry-specific professional presentation templates, and every one of them is fully customisable. The interior design presentation templates are built for the documents interior designers actually send. They arrive filled with your rooms, products, floor plans and branding from the FF&E schedule. The templates include cover pages with a plain title, an image or a floor plan, and floor plan pages. They also include room pages with the room's plan and its items, mood and collage pages, FF&E gallery pages and options pages. Each one is organised around rooms, floors and FF&E items, the way an interior design project is actually structured.
Every part of a presentation can be customised. Set the fonts and sizes for titles, subtitles, item names, body text and captions across the whole presentation, and choose a different template for any single page. Upload your own images, sketches and renders to sit alongside the products from your schedule.
Formatting
Procurist automatically formats every presentation page to fit its content, so you do not spend time perfecting presentations and moving images and text around. Add four items to a room or fourteen, and the page arranges the images, names and details so everything fits, lines up and reads cleanly. Images are sized to sit whole inside their frames, without cropping, so every product is shown in full. Text follows the fonts and sizes set for the whole presentation, which keeps every page consistent without anyone checking the alignment of a caption on page thirty-one. The hours that used to go into nudging text boxes go back into the design and the conversation with your client.

Generated from the same FF&E schedule as the presentation
Procurist's FF&E schedules and interior design presentation templates fill themselves from your project. The presentation templates fill from the generated schedule, so there is no empty spreadsheet or blank deck to complete by hand. A downloaded FF&E schedule template has to be updated by hand in every place a change touches. A generated schedule and its presentations carry the change everywhere at once. Our free FF&E schedule template and complete guide to FF&E schedules set out what a professional schedule needs to contain.
The profession has written the stages of a project down. The RIBA Plan of Work 2020 splits a project into eight stages. Stage 2 Concept Design, Stage 3 Spatial Coordination and Stage 4 Technical Design carry the design work between the brief and construction. Its stated outcome for Stage 2 is a concept "approved by the client", and the stage ends with a signed-off stage report. The British Institute of Interior Design (March 2021) asks interior designers to adopt the same eight stages. The new BIID/RIBA interior design contracts use the Plan of Work as their foundation.
The Design Concept presentation belongs to Stage 2, where the concept is approved by the client while the brief stays live and is adjusted in response to it. The Detail Design presentation follows the RIBA Plan of Work into Stage 3 Spatial Coordination and Stage 4 Technical Design. There the design is coordinated and then worked up into "all design information required to manufacture and construct the project". The FF&E presentation and its options close that design work, before anything is ordered.
